This website does not use cookies

None of our own, none from third parties. No analytics, no advertising, no personalisation. We also use no equivalent technique to store information on your device or retrieve it from it.

That is why you will not find the usual cookie banner on arrival: there would be nothing to accept or reject. It seemed better not to set them than to set them and then ask your permission.

You can check for yourself

You do not have to take our word for it. In any desktop browser, press F12 to open the developer tools and go to the Application tab (or Storage, depending on the browser). Under cookies for the oodimensions.com domain you will find no entries.

What does happen when you visit

• The server logs the visit. Like any web server, ours records the IP address, the date, the page requested and the browser type. This is needed to serve the page and to detect attacks. It is not a cookie: nothing is stored on your device, and those logs are not cross-referenced with any other data nor used to follow you from page to page.
• Typefaces come from our own server. This is a detail almost no website bothers with: the usual approach is to request them from Google Fonts, which sends your IP address to Google every time you open a page. Not here. Loading this site, your browser contacts no server other than ours.

The one exception: the map

The Contact page has a Google Maps map. It does not load on its own. You will see a box with a notice and a button, and until you press that button Google receives nothing at all from you.

If you choose to load it, from that moment you are on Google's territory: it may set its own cookies in your browser and it will receive your IP address. That is exactly why it sits behind a button instead of loading on arrival — so the decision is yours and not ours. If you would rather not load it, next to the button there is a link to open the location directly in Google Maps, in a new tab.

Controlling cookies in general

Although it is not needed on this site, every browser lets you view, block and delete the cookies set by the sites you visit. It is usually under settings, within Privacy and security. Bear in mind that blocking them entirely may stop other websites working normally.

If this changes

If we ever add a tool that uses cookies, we will update this page before installing it and ask for your prior consent through a notice, as the law requires. We will never treat continued browsing as acceptance.
